Material overview
Inconel 625 is included in the Nickel-Based Alloys catalog. Nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy combining high strength with outstanding aqueous corrosion resistance. Key characteristics for evaluation include Resists pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress-corrosion cracking, high fatigue strength, oxidation to ~980 C, and no age hardening required. Typical applications include Marine and seawater components, chemical processing, oil and gas, and flue-gas desulfurization. The dataset currently includes 16 property records covering chemical composition, mechanical properties, and physical properties. Associated standards include B446, B443, B444, B564, and GB/T 15007, and product form records cover Bar / Rod, Plate, Seamless Pipe / Tube, and Forged Product. Final chemistry, mechanical properties, heat treatment, dimensions, inspection, and documentation must be confirmed against the applicable specification and mill certificate.
